Congratulations to all auxiliary members who were asked by our National President to “step up - leave no veteran behind.” As members you made sure that we were there for our veterans. Together, we had a wonderful year in reporting, in membership, and in attendance to the District meetings. Your dedication provided the momentum to keep everyone involved with our programs. Your hard work enabled our organization to obtain visibility in all communities....

Retired SSG Eugene Schoen knows what it’s like to get lost in government red tape. Schoen faithfully served his country for 23 years before retiring from the Army Reserve. Unfortunately, an error in the system proved costly for Schoen and his family.
For National Guard SFC Brian Renfro, deploying to Afghanistan had at least one certainty. His civilian job as a teacher would be waiting for him when he returned home. Or so he thought. In fact that turned out to be anything but certain.
